Hunter Boy

When you see a deer, you see Bambi. I on the other hand see antlers up on the wall.

Katelyn told me when she grows up she doesn't want to marry one of those hunting boys. Luke however seems to get a kick out of Grandpa being a hunter. The other 9 haven't voiced an opinion yet. Meanwhile I'll just keep doing what I love. Enjoying the outdoors, a good hunt, good friends and hopefully a nice set of antlers on the wall.

When I was little I always thought I would never marry anyone who hunted or fished. Now I have husband who does both, a son who can't wait to hunt and has already caught a fish, and a daddy who could do both everyday. Although I still think it is mean, I love my three huntin boys!!!

If he is as wonderful as you I am sure she will look past the hunting part.
Last fall when I was driving down the road I was listening to Ryan and Luke talk about life when I heard Ryan say "hey look, there is a John Deer" (he saw a tractor) and after thinking about it for a second (not knowing what a John Deer Tractor was) Luke said "My Grandpa Ivan shot a John Deer once." I started laughing so hard and when I told Katie why I was laughing she (not knowing about hunting or tractors) said "wasn't it a John Moose?" The jow of kids!
Love you dad. Glad you updated you blog.
